Space Planning and Project Management
For an organization like UTAR, planning for the future is part of the strategic planning process undertaken by all departments yearly. As UTAR expands, the demand for space grows in tandem. Thus, UTAR has to plan and provide for this expectation which is assumed to be given.
What We Do?
DEF-SL is responsible for the following scope of works:
- Space Planning
- Preparation of tender documents for Sungai Long Campus' projects
- Prepare, maintain, update and archive Sungai Long Campus' technical documents
- Prepare, maintain, and update departmental policies and procedures
- Ensure all buildings and items comply with legislative requirements
